Yancey Lee(b.1995) is a visual artist who based in Shanghai, and graduated from Shanghai University, China. Then she engaged in photography in Australia, and in 2020, she returned to China. She was selected by the Post-1985s Chinese Photographer Project themed on Nature Growth and participated in Loop Joint exhibition in2020.

Her works cover photography, writing, performance, ect.She can always find some strange scenes in the seemingly ordinary streets. She is like a scavenger, her photography is a slice of the scenes offered by the world. It seems real, but not real too. When she is recording reality, she is also far away from it. She used daily language to construct a dramatic scene. When it comes together, it becomes a stage show of city life.
