Yenny Paola Ardila, also known as Yepar, was born on April 17, 1981 in Bogota, Colombia. She lived in the caribbean 15 years before settling in Paris.

The different life experiences and cultures that she has encountered throughout her career, helped her to enrich her artistic work and build her atypical universe.

The issues of modern society, the questions about exile and the status of the woman and anatomic body are recurrent themes that she explores in her artistic work. Currently she has a studio as a permanent resident artist in the 59 Rivoli, Paris.
