Born in 1987, lives and works in Paris. Gary Colin studied graphic design at the Penninghen School of Graphic Arts in Paris. It was then that he chose to move towards the practice of digital drawing. He also creates comics, publishing projects and illustration. The forms he draws numerically tend to merge with satellite images or microscopic images. His drawing is the imprint of a space in the making, in movement, where everything seems liquid, flowing, and which takes shape as one would throw ink on water. He uses the computer as a tool to experiment with new, swarming and organic forms: living cartography of another world.
